NTA DNA Made Easy Demonstration Board Set designed to encourage hands-on learning is an ideal DNA teaching aid that covers the chemical nature of the DNA code, construction of part of a gene, replication, transcription of the DNA code onto an RNA molecule, protein synthesis translation or the production of an amino acid chain, mutation by substitution to the defect in DNA that causes sickle cell anaemia and mutation by deletion. Kit includes a series of over 100 labelled, self-adhering plastic components representing DNA strands, DNA and mRNA nucleotides and triplets, tRNA and amino acids. Kit is complete with the 30 in x 40 in demonstration board, over 100 unbreakable plastic components, student worksheets for each of 7 lessons and instructions. By manipulating these components on a large demonstration board, students participate in the sequence of molecular events which leads to DNA replication and protein synthesis.
