American Educational Products Landform Demonstration Kit -

The American Educational 555 landform demonstration kit is used for geological study, and has over 20 activities for developing student understanding of the landform-building actions of volcanoes and other geological processes, such as folding and faulting. It also helps facilitate basic geological terms, such as anticline, syncline, horst, graben, and lava flow. The model has a comprehensive study guide, with additional materials, for instructional use. The kit includes a watertight demonstration tray, three pieces of colored flexible foam, three simulated varnished-cardboard rock structures, and a nonflammable erupting volcano for demonstration. The model’s tray measures 20.0 x 4.25 x 2.0 inches (L x W x H), and volcano measures 7.0 x 7.0 inches (L x H). (L is the horizontal distance from left to right; W is the horizontal distance from front to back; H is the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point.) The kit is suitable for grades 5 to 12 and ages 10 to 18. Science education products are commonly used as educational aids in scientific classrooms and office settings.
